We have successfully executed turnkey projects for the conversion of existing 11kV overhead distribution networks to underground systems in key areas such as Bopal-Ghuma, Ambli, Chandkheda, Adalaj, Gandhinagar, and Science City near Ahmedabad. These projects, carried out for Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (UGVCL), involved the installation of approximately 460 transformers equipped with Ring Main Units (RMUs) and the laying of over 170 km of high-tension cable. The system has been in reliable operation for over four years.
Similar undergrounding projects for 11/22kV power distribution networks are currently underway for Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (DGVCL) in Surat and its surrounding areas, including Rander, Althan, Piplod, Khajod, and Billimora GIDC. In addition, we are executing the conversion of overhead to underground networks in Rajkot City for Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (PGVCL).
We are also actively involved in the development of new greenfield HT/LT underground distribution networks, including 11kV and LT cabling, RMUs, and Compact Substations at Bol GIDC near Sanand, as well as a 33kV underground network with Compact Substations at GIFT City, Gandhinagar.
